Summer camps at H & G Horse Quarters provide a fun, safe, educational week of horse-riding and horse-related activities for beginners through advanced riders, ages 5 and older. Held weekly during the summer in our five outdoor riding rings. Camps are taught by highly qualified, enthusiastic instructors, who along with assistant instructors and great school horses, provide small group instruction in all aspects of horsemanship. Campers learn quickly, get personal atttention and gain confidence in their riding skills.
A non-refundable deposti of $125.00 is required to hold a campers spot. You will find information on where to send your deposit on the registration form link. A release form must be filled out and signed by the camper's parent/guardian prior to participation in camp. Be sure to read the brochure for more information concerning dress code, hydration and lunches.
Joey Camp is for beginner riders ages 5-8. There is no riding experience necessary, only a love for horses and the sport. Camp will run Monday-Friday from 8 AM to 1 PM each day. Students will learn safety, grooming, tacking up, and mounting. As the week progresses, students will learn to walk/trot and balance their horses/ponies. We offer fun, informative, hands-on activities following riding each day, with materials designed to be age and skill appropriate.

Crocodile Camp is for riders of all ages who are able to walk/trot on the rail and beginning over ground poles/ cross rails. Camp will run Monday-Friday from 8 AM to 3 PM each day. Campers will increase their knowledge of horsemanship, safety, and riding awareness through this week. Campers will be challenged and expand their knowledge of equitation and show etiquette expected in the show ring.
June 2-6 Crocodile Camp
Giraffe Camp is for riders of advanced riders of all ages who are able to walk/trot/canter on the rail and jump 18 inches. Camp will run Monday-Friday from 8 AM to 3 PM each day. During this week campers will focus on loading, clipping, show grooming, wrapping, first aid, nutrition, and daily management. There will be seminars with the local veterinarian and farrier throughut the camp. During this week , campers will increase their knowledge of USEF rules and test, and be asked to perform various USEF recognized skill. H & G offers stabling for outside participation in this camp.
